I have bought three cars from Troya, including my current one, and couldn't be more satisfied. Since I was buying a used car that had been damaged I had a ton of questions with each purchase. I found them to be straight forward and good to work with, otherwise I would not have been a repeat customer! I will definitely be back when I am ready for my next car.
Also they have several guys who bid on the cars in the last minute. So it is not "No Reserve". When they don't get the money they want, they cancel the highest bidder saying they sold it locally. Then they list the very same car couple of weeks later.
I left a negative feedback but eBay deleted it a week later. I have seen some other negative feedbacks but ebay deleted them later too. Because eBay earns a lot from these car sales and "AS IS" means "AS IS". When you are buying the car, the guy acts like really friendly and you think if there is any problem they will take it back.
Don't let 100% positive feedback on eBay to fool you.
When I was buying the car they said it is all body work. Then it turned out that the car has a huge mechanical problem which costed me around $5000.
After you pay the money, don't expect any further help but some rude responses.
I agree with the other user who said not to trust the feedback on eBay. I purchased a car from Troya in November that they made look like was fully repaired. They conveniently took a long time to ship the car (most likely so the time to leave feedback would expire) and when I received it, there were MANY issues. Whoever repaired it didn't even take the time to fasten the bumpers back on all the way. On top of that, just about every light on the dash was on. I've put over $3000 into it so far and haven't even been able to drive it yet. The passenger seat belt is still locked from the accident. There was frame damage and the dash doesn't reattach properly, even after the body shop pulled it apart and found that there were many missing fasteners and most of the wiring was just shoved in and pinched in a few places. It also makes some very noticeable noises that the mechanic can't figure out. the air filter box was broken, as was the battery harness. The trunk was bent so badly that the battery doesn't even sit in it properly after the body shop spent hours trying to get it back in place. There's only one key fob, no spare tire and they didn't even bother installing 5 of the exterior light bulbs. And on top of all of that, the transmission downshifts into first very hard and will most likely need to be repaired/replaced. Buyer beware! Jesse (who is one of the people who left a 5 star feedback on here) seems very friendly and helpful, but in the end is just looking to make a quick buck!
A friend of mine was also going to buy from them but then he realized the frame damage at the last moment. They call themselves expert, but they don't know anything about the huge frame damage ???
