I think the two reviews are sour grapes and inappropriate. I have been using Witte Plumbing for years for my plumbing and heating repairs. I have never had anyone rude or slow and have always felt that the work was superior and well worth the money. No matter what the job is... small or large, it is done professionally and timely. Mr. Witte is always happy to discuss any questions I have about my bill and the work done. Always up front and honest. Like I said, I have been using Witte Plumbing for years and even my mother used them when she had her own home. Never once have we had a problem.
the owner has someone else do the jobs for him, so get an estimate up front as the "big" helper takes a loooong time just to move, and he has a bad temper too if something goes wrong
DO NOT GO TO WITTE PLUMBING!!! They snaked my drain 2 times in less than a one year period. The last time they came, they sent a big guy that took double the amount of time he should have taken, but he was lazy and SLOW intentionally to rack up the time. Then he had to call in "backup" for a job that was CLEARLY a one man job, as I sat down there the entire time, and watched, and the other guy stood around and did NOTHING! Then, at the end the big guy goes and sits in his car for half an hour talking on his phone, before he gives me my bill, where he tries to charge me for 3 1/2 hours when he was only there for 2!!! ANDDD I got charged $110 dollars for the second guy that they called, who stood there and did NOTHING!! Oh, also, the first time they came, the guy overcharged me by $100 dollars, and then tried to say he made a "calculations" mistake. PLEASE! These guys are a rip off!!! How can you do this to someboy?!
